School Construction from A to Z: Everything You Want to Know, But Are Afraid to Ask
School construction is a complex process with many players and moving parts that can create challenges for school business officials, superintendents, and even school board members, especially in our very different COVID-19 world. An experienced panel of professionals including a former school board member and construction manager, a chief school business official, school attorneys, and a school architect will go through the school construction from the beginning to the end along with identifying common problems and practical solutions. The panel will engage attendees in an exciting new interactive collaboration exercise. This session was originally recorded for the 2020 Envision virtual conference.
Objective 1: Identify common construction and purchasing problems.
Objective 2: Describe the range of solutions and options for common problems.
