Description:

This webinar will provide clarification on how the federal American Rescue Plan (ARP-ESSER) funding can be utilized for durable improvements to school facilities, including several inspiring and replicable examples. As school district leaders weigh the priorities for federal funding, the focus is on supporting students’ social emotional health, making up for lost time in the classroom, and preparing to bring more students and teachers back to in-person learning. Not only can facilities improvements support the return of students and teachers, it can also set the school building up for longevity and long-term operational savings. Join the Center for Green Schools as they provide an overview of the funding levels and federal and state-level guidance. Also presenting will be two school business officials who will share their experiences with planning for improvements and accessing the federal funds to support them.
