Three Wisconsin School Districts highlight the communication strategies they have used to educate their local leadership team, school board, community, and state lawmakers about the financial and operational impact of Covid-19, and federal legislation that has provided temporary financial assistance for K-12 schools. Tools and tips will be shared that can help you promote a better understanding of how instruction is being delivered and the associated cost and savings resulting from the current instructional delivery. In addition, they will demonstrate how to use executive summary templates to communicate clear facts to the community, local reps, admins, school board, and staff about the numbers and story around them.
