Monday, March 8, 2021 3:00 - 4:00 PM ET
Description:
Join
your colleagues for a thoughtful discussion on how to strategically leverage
U.S. federal COVID-relief funds to support your schools. Learn how other
districts are spending federal funds to serve students and retain quality staff
during these uncertain times. Whether you’re seeking insight on how to allocate
ESSER I, ESSER II, or Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) dollars or have tips on increasing
district chances to secure FEMA reimbursements, participate in this roundtable and exchange knowledge with your peers. **This discussion will not be recorded.
Talking Points:
- What different kinds of federal funding has your district received to respond to COVID-19? Overall, how has your district used those funds to support students thus far?
- What were your funding priorities when the pandemic first struck and how have those priorities changed over time now that we are in the middle of the 2020-2021 school year? (For instance, was there a shift in focus from education technology to social-emotional care.)
- How will you prioritize funds for the 2021-2022 school year? With limited funds available and such diverse needs, how do you prioritize where to spend your dollars? How do you ensure your spending reflects the district’s vision and addresses your community’s needs?
